Watch our explanation on Shockwave treatment for ED.
Focal Shockwave offers an alternative treatment that treats the root cause of vascular ED which may restore stronger erections and spontaneity to your sex life.
Get in touchIt works by increasing the quality of blood flow through the existing blood vessels in the penis; stimulates repair to those vessels & breaks down micro-plaques. It also stimulates the growth of new blood vessels into the area and the recovery of the elastic fibres within the penis.
We treat ED in Horsham, West Sussex using a high grade Storz Focal Shockwave device made in Switzerland. The gold standard research for the treatment of ED is conducted using Focal Shockwave not to be confused with Radial Shockwave devices.
There is very little evidence for the use of a Radial Shockwave which is a different technology; it’s important to check what type of machine clinics are using.
We also combine Focused Shockwave with several other modalities which we have found to improve the overall outcome.

Peyronie’s disease is caused by a fibrous plaque which develops in the shaft of the penis, this results in a bent shaped erect penis. It is most common in men between 40-70 years old. It is important that you realise a change in shape is happening, erections can become painful and erection problems can develop. The sooner you are treated the better, some research suggests that early treatment during the first 12 months can reduce the degree of distortion of the penis. Focal shockwave can improve problems with ED in chronic peyronie’s disease or patients who have had surgery. We often suggest a longer course of treatment in combination with other supporting modalities to gain the best result.
Chronic pelvic pain covers a broad pattern of symptoms which often vary but impacts your daily life, chronic pelvic pain, pain on sitting, toileting, sex and exercise are common. Usually patients have been their GP, had blood tests, may have tried antibiotics and seen a urologist. If they have found no abnormalities then patients are often given pain medication. Focused Shockwave can be effective in reducing symptoms and return patients back to normal activities; it offers a non surgical/medication alternative. Any letters from your GP or consultant are always useful to bring along to the consultation.
Defined as pain in the tail bone.
Patients can suffer chronic pain when sitting or moving from one position to another.
Usually it becomes debilitating and focal shockwave can be very effective in reducing symptoms.
Chris may suggest an initial consultation where he can discuss your issues, confirm you’re a good candidate for treatment, demonstrate the shockwave equipment and answer your questions.
The consultation cost will be deducted from the cost of a treatment package.
We generally treat in a group of 6 sessions and will advise a recommended treatment pathway.
Men suffering with ED can see good results with 6 sessions of focused shockwave.
“Chris, Many thanks for the shockwave therapy that has changed my life. You were professional, compassionate and showed empathy for such a personal matter.
Being a man, a healthcare professional and also spent many years in the military, having ED can be a difficult subject to approach and deal with. I wish I had come to you earlier. I’ve had 6 x sessions, so far so good. I may need a top-up in the future but we will see. I am happy to recommend you and your practice.”
